EzySmart's Smart Switch Installation  Policy

At EzySmart, we are committed to providing reliable and professional smart switch installation services. If you encounter any issues with the installation process, we’re here to assist and ensure your satisfaction.

Pre-Installation Assessment:

  • An on-site or virtual assessment may be conducted prior to installation to determine if your electrical system is compatible with the smart switch. This assessment is required to minimize unforeseen complications.

  • EzySmart is not responsible for any issues or incompatibilities with your current wiring or electrical infrastructure identified after the initial assessment or during installation.

 

Certified Technicians:

  • All smart switch installations are performed by fully certified and experienced electricians or technicians.

  • EzySmart ensures that all installations are in compliance with local building codes and safety regulations. However, the customer is responsible for ensuring that any required permits or approvals from local authorities are obtained prior to installation.

  • EzySmart is not liable for any issues arising from pre-existing electrical problems, faulty wiring, or modifications not disclosed during the assessment.

 

Customer Responsibilities:

  • Customers must ensure that the installation area is free from any obstructions and easily accessible on the scheduled installation date.

  • Power to the relevant circuits must be turned off prior to the technician's arrival to ensure a safe working environment.

  • EzySmart will not be held responsible for damages to property or personal injuries arising from failure to adhere to these requirements.

 

Installation Coverage:

  • The installation service includes only the replacement or installation of smart switches. If additional work is needed (e.g., electrical upgrades, rewiring, etc.), this will be quoted separately and agreed upon before proceeding.

  • EzySmart reserves the right to halt the installation if additional work is necessary, and it will not be liable for delays or additional costs resulting from undisclosed electrical issues.

 

Post-Installation Testing & Handover:

  • Upon completion, our technicians will test the smart switch to ensure it is functioning properly and demonstrate basic operations to the customer.

  • Once the system is tested and the customer acknowledges its functionality, EzySmart will no longer be responsible for any further operational issues unless covered by the product warranty.

 

Limited Warranty and Liability:

  • EzySmart offers a limited installation warranty covering workmanship for 30 days post-installation. This warranty does not cover defects or malfunctions related to the product itself, misuse, or modifications by the customer.

  • Any product warranty is provided by the manufacturer. EzySmart will assist with warranty claims but is not liable for product defects.

  • EzySmart will not be held responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of property, revenue, or data.

 

Indemnity Clause:

  • By accepting the installation service, the customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless EzySmart and its technicians from any claims, losses, or damages resulting from improper use, product malfunction, or failure to follow operational guidelines post-installation.

  • Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy:

  • Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment.

  • Any cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled installation will incur a fee. EzySmart will not be responsible for any inconvenience caused by rescheduling due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather or safety concerns.

 

Limitation of Liability:

  • In no event shall EzySmart’s total liability exceed the fees paid for the installation service. This limitation applies to all claims and damages, including but not limited to damages for injury, property damage, or business loss.

  • The customer acknowledges and agrees that EzySmart is not responsible for any damages or losses caused by electrical faults, power surges, or pre-existing issues within the home’s electrical system.

 

 

By proceeding with EzySmart’s smart switch installation services, the customer agrees to the terms outlined in this policy and releases EzySmart from any legal claims or liability beyond those specifically stated.
