At EzySmart, we are committed to providing reliable and Professional Smart Lock Installation Services. If you encounter any issues with the installation process, we’re here to assist and ensure your satisfaction.
Purpose
This policy outlines the terms and conditions for the installation of smart door locks by EzySmart to ensure the highest standards of service, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Scope
This policy applies to all customers and installations of smart door locks provided by EzySmart.

Installation Eligibility

Customers must have purchased the smart door lock directly from EzySmart or an authorized retailer.

The installation location must be within the geographic area serviced by EzySmart (refer to Service Area Guide for specific regions).

All necessary permissions from the property owner (if the customer is not the owner) must be obtained prior to installation.
Installation Process

Pre-Installation Assessment: Prior to installation, a technician will conduct a site inspection to assess the compatibility of the door with the smart lock.

Standard Installation: Includes removing the existing lock, installing the new smart lock, configuring the lock with the mobile app, and providing a demonstration.

Installation Time: Standard installations typically take 1–2 hours. Complex installations may require more time.

Installation Fee: A standard installation fee will be charged, which covers labor and materials. Any additional services or custom installations may incur extra charges, which will be communicated beforehand.
Installation Terms

Warranty: EzySmart provides a 12-month warranty on installation services. Any issues arising from the installation within this period will be addressed at no extra charge.

Liability: EzySmart is not responsible for any damage caused due to pre-existing structural issues with doors or frames. Customers are responsible for ensuring the door is in suitable condition for installation.

Modifications: Any modifications to the lock or installation by third parties will void EzySmart's warranty and support.
Safety & Compliance

EzySmart installers follow industry safety standards and comply with local building and fire safety regulations.

Installations in residential buildings must comply with condominium or homeowners’ association rules (if applicable).
Customer Responsibilities

The customer must ensure the presence of an adult over 18 during installation.

Customers should back up any smart lock settings and passwords to prevent lockouts.

After installation, the customer is responsible for ensuring the smart door lock is used properly and maintained in line with the manufacturer’s guidelines.
Post-Installation Support

EzySmart provides free technical support for 30 days post-installation for configuration and troubleshooting.

For ongoing technical support, customers can sign up for our EzyCare Protection Plan, which includes extended support and regular maintenance.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellations or rescheduling of appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so may result in a rescheduling fee.
Dispute Resolution

Any disputes regarding installation services should be reported to EzySmart Customer Service. We aim to resolve disputes amicably, but if necessary, the issue can be escalated to our management team.
By proceeding with EzySmart’s Smart Lock Installation Services, the customer agrees to the terms outlined in this policy and releases EzySmart from any legal claims or liability beyond those specifically stated.
