FAQs
Method 1: The Wi-Fi signal may be weak, or there could be too many devices connected to the network. Try resetting the switch and reconnecting it to your Wi-Fi. Ensure the number of connected devices isn’t exceeding your router’s limit, and check if the signal strength in that area is weak.
Method 2: If the switch appears in the app even after disconnecting, check its signal strength (go to Switch -> Edit -> Device Information). If it doesn’t appear in the app, check for power issues. Sometimes, if the screws are too tight, it may cause connection problems. Loosen the screws slightly, reattach the glass panel, and power the switch back on. (Make sure to attach the glass panel first before powering it on.)
Method 1: The cycle timing function may be activated. If you don’t need this feature, you can turn it off through the mobile app.
Method 2: Power off the switch and check if the screws are too tight. Over-tightening can affect its operation. Loosen the screws slightly, attach the glass panel first, and then power it back on (always cover the glass panel before powering on).
This issue may be due to incorrect wiring or an improperly connected external capacitor. In some cases, incorrect wiring could damage the switch. To resolve this:
Ensure that both the input and output wires are connected correctly.
Check that the capacitor is installed properly to avoid malfunction.
The capacitor should be installed at L1, near the lamp, not behind the switch itself.
Press and hold the button for 5 seconds and check the indicator light:
If the light is not flashing, the switch may be defective.
If the light is flashing, the issue may be with the connection method. Try reconnecting through the app.
Method 1: This could be due to incorrect wiring or an improperly connected external capacitor. Ensure that the input and output wiring are correct, and the capacitor is properly installed.
Method 2: If it's a thyristor version, the issue might be a breakdown due to overload. If it's a relay version, check if you can hear the relay clicking when activated.
Method 1: The voltage and current may be unstable, or the load might be too high. Check if the power rating of the connected appliances exceeds the switch’s capacity.
Method 2: Power off the switch and check if the screws are too tight. If they are, loosen them slightly, reattach the glass panel, and power the switch back on (always attach the glass panel before turning on the power).
Yes, you can connect two bulbs in parallel and control them simultaneously.
If there’s no neutral wire, check if the capacitor has been installed at the bulb and not behind the switch. The capacitor must be properly installed.
L1 is the power supply circuit. If the bulb’s wattage is too low, the current might not form a proper loop. Try installing the bulb in L2, L3, or L4 and test again.
The quality of low-wattage bulbs (below 3W-5W) can sometimes be poor, causing flickering. We recommend replacing the bulb with a higher-quality one.
An explosion is usually due to incorrect installation by the customer:
The neutral and fire lines may have been connected together.
The neutral and fire lines might have been connected incorrectly.
High-power equipment could have been connected to the switch, causing overload.

A smart home device is an electronic device that can connect to the internet, allowing you to control and monitor it remotely using a smartphone app or a smart home hub. These devices can include smart lights, locks, cameras, thermostats, and more.
Smart home devices offer various benefits, including enhanced convenience, improved security, energy efficiency, and the ability to automate routine tasks. They allow you to control your home environment from anywhere, making everyday life easier.
To enhance security, always use strong, unique passwords for your devices and accounts. Regularly update your firmware, enable two-factor authentication when available, and connect devices to a secure Wi-Fi network. Avoid using public Wi-Fi for controlling smart home devices.
Yes! Most EzySmart devices are compatible with voice assistants like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Simply connect your devices through the respective app to enable voice control.
A smart home hub is a central device that connects and controls various smart home devices from different brands. While not all devices require a hub, using one can simplify control and automation of multiple devices.
Smart home devices typically communicate via Wi-Fi, Zigbee, Z-Wave, or Bluetooth. They can send and receive signals to perform actions or share data, allowing for seamless automation and control.
Yes! EzySmart devices can be programmed to work together through automation routines. For example, you can set your smart lights to turn on when you unlock your smart lock or have your thermostat adjust based on your location.
Most smart home devices require a constant power supply and will not function during a power outage. However, some devices, like smart locks with backup batteries, can continue to operate until the batteries are depleted.
First, check your internet connection and make sure the device is powered on. Try restarting the device or resetting it according to the user manual. If the problem persists, contact EzySmart customer support for assistance.
Most EzySmart devices are designed for easy integration into existing home setups. However, compatibility can depend on your home’s infrastructure (e.g., Wi-Fi network, electrical systems). Check the product specifications or contact our support team for guidance.
You can start upgrading your home by choosing a few key smart devices, such as smart lights, a smart lock, or a smart thermostat. From there, you can gradually add more devices and integrate them into a central control system using the EzySmart app.
Smart home devices are generally designed to be energy-efficient. Many can help reduce energy consumption by allowing you to schedule usage, monitor energy use, and automate routines, ultimately leading to lower utility bills.
Yes! With the TuyaSmart app, you can control your devices remotely, receive alerts, and monitor your home security from anywhere, giving you peace of mind when you're not at home.
The reset process varies by device. Typically, you can find reset instructions in the user manual or on the EzySmart website. Most devices can be reset by pressing a button for a specific duration, restoring factory settings.
Adding multiple smart devices can increase network traffic, but most modern routers are designed to handle multiple connections. To optimize performance, consider upgrading your router if you plan to add many devices, or use a mesh network system or ZigBee protocol for better coverage.
